Error - IM32FAX.DIL Not Found! (error message upon startup)

Upon startup I receive an error message that says "IM32FAX.DIL Not Found!".
Numerous other flaky things have been happening since I started receiving
this error message. I am running XP Home Edition.

How do I get this file back??

Do you have a Lexmark printer? If so, uninstall the Lexmark Printer and
Fax Drivers and Utilities, restart your computer, and re-install the
printer software.

If you want help with "numerous other flaky things" you have to describe
them in detail.

Hi Leonard,

Yes, I have a Lexmark 5300 series printer. When I try to uninstall the
printer drivers I get the error message "%BuildTemplateErrorMessage%" (with
the window title "%InstallErrorTitle%") and the Lexmark drivers won't
uninstall.

Now what?

I am having the same error message but the lexmark printer was already thrown away so i cannot re install. is there any other way to get rid of the error messages
