    The instruction at "0x77d4bbcd" referenced memory at "0x00000048".The memory could not be "read".

    I keep getting this error message every now and then on my computer"msfeedssync.exe - Application Error" The instruction at "0x77d4bbcd" referenced memory at "0x00000048".The memory could not be "read".

    Click on OK to terminate the program
    Click on CANCEL to debug the program

    Please help resolve.

    Actually the MS Fees Synchronization part is part of automatic RSS feeds synchronization in Internet Explorer 7. It starts automatically at the specified time and checks for updates to your RSS feeds in IE7. Once it complete the RSS feeds update, it terminates itself.

    You must realize the conversation you are replying to is over one year old, correct? Did you try Leland's provided solution? If yes, dint it worked for you?

    Everyone post the problem, but where is the solution? I use Internet explorer 8 which I hoped would cure the problem but it still exist,
    Who has the solution?

    hi, This is MAYURESH for progressive infotech ltd

    I resolve the msfeedssync.exe - application error 0x00000048 memory could not be “read”
    Just open system32 folder and find msfeedssync.exe after click on rename and remove .exe extinction. 100% your problem resolve

    Was solved in my case by reinstalling Internet Explorer 8.
    This was after a virus infection and a repair install which was required to get the machine running again (Windows XP).
