watchdog.sys causing PC freeze then reboot.Any ideas ?

    What is watchdog.sys ?
Whilst watching TV or DVDs in XPCE2005 I get random freezes. It results in
    the PC rebooting.
When I examine the minidump file it reports watchdog.sys as the problem.
I've had little success googling the problem.

    Can anyone offer suggestions ?

CPU is AMD 4850e, Mb MA78GPM-DS2H with HD3200 IGP. PC runs MCE2005 SP3

    Thanks

It seems many have had the problem, on many sites, but no one has come back
    to report the fix.

    Thx Truth
Does the page imply that Service Pack 2 is the fix ?
I already use SP3 and have all other updates installed.

Try to to better your comprehension abilities. Read the KB again more
    carefully!

I read it as "This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows XP
Service Pack 2" but my OP states that I'm already at SP3.

    I'm obviously missing something sorry.
