| Keyboard and Mouse not working after using System Configuration
MSN was not installing for me and I used someone's recommendation and selected the basic start up (Diagnostic Startup) in the System Configuration Utility. However when it loaded my usb mouse/keyboard wouldn't work. I figured this was because they had been disabled due to the basic setup (first time using the SCU) I grabbed a PS2 keyboard and mouse yet it still does not work. I can use the keyboard for the bios settings. Is there any bootdisk I could use to help fix this problem? Thanks in advance. |

Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration? A description of the Safe Mode Boot options in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222/en-us -- Hope this helps. Did you plug the PS2 mouse and keyboard into the correct sockets - they will only work in their designated sockets . |
