"resycled\boot.com is not a valid win32 application" appears when login my 'D' drive?

Hello, recently I've encountered problem with my PC.I couldn't open my
'D' (a removable driver) and the 'E' driver (internal driver).Every
time I tried to open both driver,a message like I mention in the
subject, appeared. So I decided to reformat and hoping the problem will
be solved.Unfortunately after a long hour of reformatting, the problem
still remain.Frustrated,I format my 'E' driver and the problem
solve, but I lost a lot of valuable files and folders.I'm not going to
do the same to my 'D' driver and I'm hoping someone out there could
help me out of this problem. Thanks in advance for any response.

Have a read of this

couldn't you have backed up the important stuff before formatting. I assume
there is not a problem now..
