Windows Explorer Error

Hello,

I recently had a windows explorer crash; I had been playing around with
various windows keyboard commands when it happened.

I then managed to restart explorer, with most processes still intact.
However the control panel icon for Nvidea is now missing from the system tray
box.

Below is information from the error report, in the event viewer:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Error

Do you have PowerDVD8 from Cyberlink?
Open a run command and type in:
regsvr32 deskband32.dll click [OK]
Reboot your machine, does it help?
Did you tried System Restore to an earlier date before what happened?
click Start >> All programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >>
System Restore and pick up a Restore point to restore your system.

RE: Windows Explorer Error

Thankyou for your quick rply Nass. I do indeed have Power DVD 8 from
Cyberlink installed, and I will try the first solution you suggested, if the
problem occurs again.

Many thanks once again.
