http://support.microsoft.com/kb/230738 Can anyone tell me how to recover from that error other than just clearing the cache? Thanks |

Check the below articles to solve your issue: Features and functions in version 1.1 of the Client-Side Caching Command-Line Options command-line tool http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884739 http://blogs.msdn.com/jonathanh/arch...ine-files.aspx Also what is the value set to in the right pane window in this key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\NetCache= |

Thanks for the reply, the NetCache was not found under HKEY_Current_User but under HKEY_Local_Machine and the value for that key was Default / REG_SZ / Value not set. |

| RE: Offline files - The parameter is incorrect
I found some answer for this problem at - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jonathanh/ar...16/354049.aspx. Although the welcome screen and fast user switching were off/disabled, the all important registry key had not been changed. The below key was still set to '1' when I changed it to '0' offline files stopped unchecking itself after every restart: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "AllowMultipleTSSessions"=dword:00000000 Also check "Office Documents Are Synchronized to an Offline Share Automatically" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817275 |
