I am getting the below error message when my system sometimes restarts:

I am not able to find any information on this error code. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

This problem occurs if you install the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) service but you do not also configure this service. These error events are logged by the SNMP service when you restart the computer. Follow the solution given in this link - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832790

It looks to me that it is a drive used for a program loaded on demand. You may get a hint from some of the ealier suggestions given above. Try to click on Start > Run and Type sigverif.exe and press ok. Can you tell us what drivers are listed as unsigned?

Hello, I'm looking for some help regarding just ONE of the following stop errors from my newly reformated (Yet again ) windows pc. XP Home, and I've had these errors on SP2 AND SP3. Mine are becoming a little less random because it seems like I'm finding a bit of a pattern. I'd say I can actually force these stop errors (that do not have blue screens) if I run an antivirus scan. I'm currently using esetnod on a freshly formated pc, WITH a brand new Sata Drive. I've read lots of info about these stop errors so far, some suggest problematic memory, some say video cards, video card slots, drivers..the list goes on and on.

An earlier post from a Joshua Smith [MSFT] from 2005 talks about this procedure...which I did, but I do not understand where to get the results from.

To determine what driver is causing the problem I need you to enable driver
verifier.
Steps:
1) Windows Key + R
2) Type in 'verifier' and hit enter
3) Make sure 'Create Standard Setting' is selected and hit next
4) Click on 'Select all drivers installed on this computer' and hit Finish
5) Reboot

I did find a few drivers that did not have "microsoft corporation" signature. Those were Nero (I have version 6) and Via..as in Viaarena..the chipset for my MSI PM8PM-V motherboard.

I thought the ATI catalyst controler might be a problem so I didn't install that for the Radeon X1600 pro agp video card. I put the newest video card drivers only on.

When I've reformated I've used an XP SP2 OEM disk to load my OS. Oddly enough, I don't think I've ever had this kind of problem from an older SP1 XP Home disk.

I read somewhere on another post about " resizing my Pagefile " What is this ? Also..I saw one article / post on here about researching event 1003. Here is one article from Microsoft. I think they were talking about updating your service pack for this resolution..and at the time that was SP1, but..there is the " workaround " under " resolution "..could this be a fix ? I tried this and on the reboot Things loaded alot faster..I wasn't expecting this, but it is an interesting result.

I also meant to add in my other post's that I'm getting these stop errors after i'm done updating through windows updates. But i'm just getting the security updates. I've also applied updates to the motherboard (bios is current and up to date) chipset (via) and so forth.

Does the problem show itself during the boot process or later? Has the problem occurred whilst using safe mode? How frequently does the problem occur? Are any devices malfunctioning? Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information. Open Components under System Summary and click on Problem Devices. Is anything listed there?
