| Error messag after installing IDT-Audio-IDT High Definition Audio Definition Audio CODEC" appeared in Windows Update under hardware updates. I installed that and now when I start up my computer I get an error message, "Intel Audio Studio Controller" "Sonic FocusTM drivers must be loaded for this application to work." I would like to know the best way to resolve this issue. Are there updated drivers that I should download and install from somewhere? Should I uninstall the "IDT-Audio-IDT High Definition Audio CODEC". I don't see it listed under add remove programs. Thanks. Bob |

Hi Bob, I see it's been about four months since your post and you've not got a reply.. I just did a fresh install of WinXP Pro today and after updating drivers have now ended up with the same issue. Hopefully someone has been able to resolve it, if I manage to I'll be sure to post. |
