NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (x64) has been released for fixing issues reported by customer after release of Microsoft ..NET Framework 2.0. Rather than fixing reported issues this update will provide better security and prerequisite feature support for .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 as well as .NET Framework 3.5. One can download it form Microsoft download center.

Is there something wrong going on with update, i am getting an error message saying "This Product is not supported on Vista operating system" when i a trying to install it. I also wanted to know if x64 versions of .NET 3.0SP1 and .NET 3.5 for Vista is available.

Even i think there is something wrong with NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (x64) update, i am getting below error message while installing it.

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a x64: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a x64. MSI returned error code 1603 [11/20/07,10:53:21] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a x64 is not installed.
