Microsoft Remote (eHome Infrared Transceiver)

I have bought Microsoft Remote (eHome Infrared Transceiver) for Windows Media Center in order to run it on Windows x64 system but i am not able to set it up and install it. I have found 64-bit driver in AMD64 setup folder for Windows x64 but when i point the installer to it gives me a message saying its not 64-bit compatible. I want to know if i can get working 64-bit driver for Microsoft Remote.

As far as i am aware Windows Media Center wont run on windows 64 bit system, so there is no point in looking after a driver for your Microsoft Remote. You should have checked these thing's out earlier.

Yes Windows Media Center is currently not supported by windows 64 bit system, i also wanted to add that i have checked out for eHome Infrared Transceiver and have found that it is supported by Windows Media Center only. In order to get your Remote working you will have to downgrade to 32 bit operating system, install Media Center and install the required drivers. I don think there is any other option to get it working with 64 bit system.
