You should have provided more detail about your issue, since you have mentioned that you have started encountering bsod from few days it is obvious its because of some recent changes made in your system .So just let me know if you have made any hardware or software changed before bsod started occurring ??? If you dont remember than attach entire log file of BSOD so that i can have better idea of the issue you are going through.

I will suggest you to better check out Event Viewer and find out if there is any suspicious info there. In order to check out Event Viewer type ‘eventvwr’ without quotes in start search box. Once Windows log comes up in resulting window, click on Application tab and go through critical errors there. If you find any related to BSOD than cop it and paste it in your next post for further help.

As far as i am aware Event ID 6008 is associated with unexpected shutdown. There are several reasons which can be the root cause of this issue. Common ones are force quitting and over heating , if it is not because of force quitting in your case than open your cpu case and inspect if it is because of overheating. Check these things out first and let me know what you find.

This issue occurs when below are true.
    • Computer is locked or not configured with password protected screensaver.
    • The shutdown process might happening due to automatic initialization of InitiateSystemShutdownEx.
    • Event log service might have not been notified with shutdown event because of which it might be getting considered as unexpected event.

I was facing same issue before and below is what i had done to
    • Disable USB suspend mode via power option
    • Create shutdown shortcut on desktop and use same for shutting down the system

Best of luck, hope that helps.
