I am not able to update KB953297 on Windows

I am not ale to install .net framework 1.1 SP1 on my system. It is a Windows system. Actually I have a bit network where all types of system are configure. There are two old Windows 2000 system with Windows 7 and Windows Vista also. Now when I push the updates to those system it still shows pending. It is a kind of important updates are required and I cannot ignore the same. I am not able to figure out why this updates are not working.

You said that you are pushing certain updates that means you are using a server environment. If you are on WSUS then there are chances that some update fails. I do not know the reason behind that, but this happens. You can try a manual setup which will really work. That is the best way of dealing with the issue.

I am too having the same issue and it is almost 2 days yet I am not able to figure out the issue behind it. I need some help over hear that can make me understand why this update is not working. It is a buggy update I think. I have around 50 system around the network. I cannot just keep on installing that manually on each of those system.

I also have this problem on my new laptop. I have contacted Microsoft
but so far the problem has not been resolved. If you or anyone can provide
a fix, it would be much appreciated....
