| IE 64-bit became default
I'm not sure how but my IE7 64-bit browser is now the default browser launched by clicking links in Outlook (2003-SP3). I would prefer that it launch the 32-bit browser but haven't been able to find out how to do this. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Drew |

Drew, What is your OS (XP x64, Vista x64, Win 7 x64? You might find your answer here: http://www.technologyquestions.com/t...t-browser.html Carlos "Drew" wrote: > I'm not sure how but my IE7 64-bit browser is now the default browser > launched by clicking links in Outlook (2003-SP3). Sorry Carlos, it's XP x64. Your link worked for me, for Outlook links, but broke opening links from OE which used to open in 64-bit IE by default. Adding the path to the 64-bit IE to the environment didn't help. I still don't know what caused this but would like to get it back to normal, 32-bit for Outlook and 64-bit (or 32-bit) for OE. They ARE separate programs. I do this too, works for me but that will not change the 'click-default' in app's. I assume there has to be something somewhere in the Registry to let you do this, unless you are bold and loves searching I would check the [public registry] NG's. At least if you are on a Newsreader.
