Procedure to upgrade to WindowsXP 64bit.

I have WindowsXP pro SP3 and I am not computer savvy.

How can I upgrade to XP 64bit? Is this just a matter of
buying the software and installing it over the present 32bit
version I have at present?

Please help, Frank

You can't upgrade at all. You can only do a clean install, replacing your
existing 32-bit Windows.

before you do as below make sure all of your hardware has 64 bit drivers for
it like the printer, video card etc.

Re: Procedure to upgrade to WindowsXP 64bit.

Don't forget the motherboard drivers, too. Do you have a need or reason to
convert to 64-bit?
