How To Unblock a Start Up Program

I dont know how I have got this program called fix.exe installed on my laptop, but everytime at the startup, it keeps blocking when I switch on the laptop. I am not able to see any description or publisher information but the startup type is something called 'Registry: Local Machine'. This program can be found in the Windows folder on the C: drive, and I am not able to do anything from the Startup Program for the options to either remove or disable it, since all this options are greyed out. I have windows vista installed on my machine and I am looking for some solution for this problem.

The the below method and see if that works for you:

1. First of all open the Start Menu
2. After that in the search box type msconfig and hit enter
3. Now incase if the UAC is asking for any kind of permission then go ahead and click continue
4. Now you will be able to see the System Configuration box that should appear
5. After that you have to click the STARTUP tab
6. Next, you should see in the list for the application that is causing you trouble, and see if it is enabled.
7. After that if it is not enabled, enable it, and then restart and see if that
8. fixes the problem
