Screen has rotated 90 degrees and is on its side!

Hey guys, am I in need of some urgent help from you all. This is my brand new Dell laptop bought a week ago and running with Windows Vista. Today morning when I started the laptop I saw that my desktop has rotated 90 degrees. I tried the very simple method that is required to rotate the screen, that is Ctrl + Del + Arrow keys to make my screen back to normal but it is not working. Any other way I can fix my screen? Please help.

Sometimes there use to be any software that rotates the screen itself when you try to launch a very long sized document. It changes the display from landscape to Portrait mode itself. So, I guess you might have installed such hardware or software, do you ? Also is it happening while watching any particular large doc ?

If you want to reply these questions than also let me know which Vista edition are you using and will be good if you post the screenshot of your screen. .

Usually the screen rotating is the feature of Video Card that help your monitors to work (rotate) according to the documents. Or you might have by mistakenly pressed Ctrl + Del + Arrows. I know you have mentioned that pressing Ctrl + Del + Arrow again is not working, I would like to suggest you to please try it out in safe mode and see if it works. If still you getting same problem than simply tryout updating graphic card drivers.

If Ctrl+Alt+ arrow Is not working, try out pressing Ctrl-Shift-R keys and see if it works.
