Cpu Meter sidebar gadget function?

I have Windows Vista installed on my computer and there is this CPU gadget on the screen. I wanted to know what is the function of each gauge on the CPU Meter sidebar gadget? I have tried many sites for some information but couldnt find anything. Can anyone please help me out for same. Thanks for any information.

You need to tell us which CPU gadget you are talking about because there are many to select from the Windows Market Place. However, If I understand properly, then you are talking about the gadget that usually displays the usage of each CPU core and also a graph which shows spikes rising and decreasing at any range in the CPU usage, same as like the task manager's performance area. The other bar displays the amount of memory used and the amout of memory remaining. You could try to post a picture of the CPU gadget so that we can tell you what is it used for and so on.
