Vista Home Premium, Desktop: Sleep is really hibernate

When ever I am trying to create a shortcut for rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState Sleep, it causes a hibernate mode which is same like rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState. I want to make a shortcut for a hot button on the keyboard to create a sleep mode, so that the computer can be awaked from keyboard and mouse movement. Is there any other way to do this?

Can you go into the power options and in the advanced settings, can you choose the "allow hybrid sleep" to off. It will make your computer to sleep like the old way that is without saving to disc. I dont know if it will allow you to wake your computer on a key presses or mouse movement though. I have checked the same on my Dell machine and when I press a key on the keyboard the the computer immediately wakes up from sleep. You can also make the computer to hibernate by setting the power button in the power options.
