Setup.exe stopped working error message

Please could someone try and help me. Since receiving some updates from
Window my music software has stopped working. I have been advised to
uninstall/reinstall the program and not luck. I have done and reversed a
system restore and still not luck, but what is worse is that I have now found
a solution but due to the system restore I now am unable to uninstall the
music program and am getting the message "setup.exe stopped working". Does
anyone now how I can fix this? I am starting to lose my patience with
Windows vista, so please, please HELP!

Now I'm sure you mean well realy but, Well! you know there are a number of
we poor smuts out here with MS gear that cost good Pounds/Dollars and it
don't work right. Now! surely you can understand and sypathise with us and
so, step in and give us break.
