| RE: Lost my Speaker Icon on the Taskbar
Hi Bill, To retrieve the icon, right click on a blank space on the Taskbar. In the menu that appears, select 'Properties'. Next, select the 'Notification Area' tab. Under the section headed 'System icons' there is a list of icons which you can set to either always show (ticked box) or always hide (cleared box). I recommend that you have all of these icons set to always show, i.e. have the boxes ticked. The options that I have in this section are Clock, Volume and Network. There is another option, Power, but that is only applicable to laptops. Dwarf "Bill" wrote: > It's gone...I just booted it up and it's not there anymore. Anyone know where > it went? > Thanks... |

Hi, I have the same problem as bill does on my windows vista, I have checked the properties however the four boxes, time, sound power and connection, I can't edit them, all but the time are that grey in active colour and I get no response when I click them, it's driving me mad!!! Please help if you can. Thanks, Rougvie |
