BSOD - Driver IRQL not less or equal
I am using Windows Vista 64bit that is about 4 months old. From last couple of days it crashes with Blue Screen for more than 8 times per day. Yeah, it is ridiculous. I tried to find out causes and solution for the same, found many but none of them was particularly related to the error am getting on the BSOD. It?s the following: ?STOP: 0x000000D1: (0x00000014) (0x00000002) (0x00000000) (0x874EFB7C) ndis.sys - address 874EBF7C base at 874CB000, datestamp 4549b2fd? Is there someone who can tell me what is causing the crash on my system and how it can be solved ? All helps appreciated. Thank you in advance. |

Re: BSOD - Driver IRQL not less or equal
Talking about exact cause of the problem, as per the error mentioned, ?ndis.sys? is related to your network adapter (NIC) drivers. Well most of the drivers itself use to be the cause of BlueScreen. I have pretty good experience with this. In order to fix your crash, you just need to update the NIC drivers to the latest version. Just go to your manufacturer?s official product page, download the drivers and install. Hopefully you wont see BSOD again. You can get your manufacturer details in the documentation you might have got with the system. |
