Deleting doc temp files in Windows Vista

I perform disk cleanup on regular basis. That is the only best option to wipe out internet files and other cookies. But from sometime I found that there are tons of doc temp file created and they are not wiped out by disk cleanup. They had occupy more than 300mb of space. I just want to know that is ti safe to get rid of this or I should leave the same. Thanks.

You can get rid of them. It does not matter. Those are just temp files which are created when you are editing a word file. They are very low size file. I cannot understand why it is occupying so much space.
