How can I turn off Narrator?

I am using windows Vista. I was doing some R&D in the system when by mistakenly I started the narrator. Now every time I start the system, it start with my computer. I tried to shut it down but not getting the option. Can any one here help me stopping the same ? Thank you.

You are correct buddy. Turning off narrator is bit tricky. To do so, go to Accessories/Ease of Access/Ease of Access Center. Here under Explore all Settings you need to click “Use the Computer without a Display”. Now you will see a checkbox turn off the Narrator. Do it from here.

Also did you tried typing Narrator in the start menu search filed ? It shows you option directly.

Thanks for the help friend. I was almost ready to throw out my computer because of the same.

Anyways, now I finally managed to turn it off

Here is how you can turn off the same:

Restart your computer.
At the login page on the lower left of screen you see the ease of access button.
Left click and bingo a dialogue opens
There you can turn Narrator On/Off.
