Windows Vista Startup Hangs & Repair Cannot Fix

I am using a Gateway laptop. It has Windows Vista x64 OS installed on the same. I had formatted the system and re-installed Vista. But due to some reason it is still freezing a lot. The system freezes when it starts. It is really very irritating to get back on normal performance. I can work in safe mode, but the normal mode is very annoying. I cannot figure out why this system is giving such a hard time on boot.

It looks some driver or some hardware which starts after a while when the system turns on gives a hard time to your system. You must disconnect all the connected hardware. Only keep the mouse and keyboard attached. Later on you can simply try to check in safe mode what all applications are configured on startup. Disable those which are not needed.
