| Live Messenger won't connect/general connection issues
Hey there, Ever since I've moved back home i've been having trouble connection to any .live.com network from microsoft. This includes hotmail, windows live messenger, windows update, and anything having the 'live.com' tag in it it seems. I used to be on a network with a router and such, but now my computer is directly connected to the dsl modem. I've tried adjusting things with my connection, I have no firewall active that i'm aware of. Live messenger gives me this error: 81000306 and windows update throws me: 80072EE2 and in general, my browsing is slow and sometimes won't connect to pages. I don't know if this has to do with me being previously on a network, but I've tried what I can when it comes to editting the settings to reflect not being on a network. Although of course, I'm no expert and probably missed something :( Any help would be appreciated and again! |

Hey there! Thanks for the quick response to my question. I've tried all of the above methods in the link provided, and I still can't seem to access any live websites or windows messenger live (or Windows update). I still get the same error codes. Updated my NIC, switched settings around, but still nothing :( Does anyone happen to have anymore suggestions? |
