Error 0x800710FE: This file is currently not available for use...

I am trying to rename a folder on a network share which is synced with the pc that I have at home and now I am getting some strange kind of folder on the same pc. So, if I am trying to delete this folder which has no files in it, then I am getting an error code 0x800710FE. I think that to solve this issue I have to reinitialize the CSC cache but I dont want to do it because then I will have to resync over 50gb of data. Can anyone tell me another workaround for same? Thanks.

I think that you will need to rebuild CSC cache using regedit. Follow the below method:

    1. First of all click Start and enter regedit in the start search to open Registry Editor.
    2. After that expand to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache
    3. Then try to add a new key:
      Key Name: FormatDatabase
      Key Type: DWORD
      Key Value: 1
Note that the actual value of the registry key is ignored. This registry change requires a restart. When the computer is restarting, the shell will reinitialize the CSC cache and then delete the registry key if the registry entry exists.
    4. After that try to restart the computer then the CSC cache is rebuilt. Test the same issue again.

Thanks for responding. I know that incase I rebuild the CSC cache then the issue will fade away. But I want to use another option. There might be some another way to repair this thing and I think that deleting a ghost folder without having to delete all other folders would be fine. Thanks for any suggestion.
