Internet Explorer 7 (in Vista Home Premium) 'cannot find website'

Using Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7. It is connected with Win XP as well as Windows 2000 Pro via Belkin router. I’m trying to access belkin.com from my IE 7 on vista, but every time it says “Internet explorer cannot find the webpage.” I tried the same on XP and surprisingly the same result. I also get a link saying “Diagnose Connection Problem” on the error window, which on clicking does nothing.

When I try to troubleshoot or running “Windows Network Diagnostics”, I get a message saying www.belkin.com is not set up to establish a connection on port World Wide Web Service (HTTP) on this computer. I don’t have any idea what is meant by that.

Can anyone please help me get rid of this complicated and annoying issue? Many thanks.

I had the same problem, but with all URL's.
The solution is: Uninstall Norton Internet Security and never let that piece of crap come anywhere near your computer again. On top of causing problems for IE, it slows your computer down immensely. I can recommend the following freeware to replace it: AVG Anti-Virus and ZoneAlarm Firewall.
