    Wireless Limited or No Connectivity

I have a laptop that is running on Windows Vista and I am not able to connect to a Wireless Network that is using Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC), it will be always limited or there will be no connectivity. I have already turned off the firewall but that is not working for me. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

I have seen many cases where Limited or no connectivity means that Vista is not able to receive IP address from the DHCP. So, you can try to post back the result of ipconfig/ all to let us know the its details.

Thanks for the reply. Could you please tell me what are the causes that it will not receive IP from DHCP if it is not concerned with the windows firewall especially when all the other workstations are able to receive the IPS normally except the Vista Laptop that I have? Thanks

Re: Wireless Limited or No Connectivity

There might be some switches and routers that may not compatible with Vista. So the solution is to upgrade the firmware, or either disable the IPv6, re-configure the speed, and setup TCP/IP manually and see if anyone of this method works for you or not.
