Sharing Vista & XP computers on a home network

I have several computers on a Home network. One is Vista all others are XP
Pro. I All the XP pro can share data with one another. The Vista computer
can see (copy from and send to) the XP units. The XP units can SEE the
shared Vista drives but cannot send to or copy from them.

The Vista machine is set up "Private" with share permissions for the drives
to "everyone" with full advanced coitrols set to full control, change & read
checked.

I MUST be missing something but I cannot think what it might be.
