    Vista Wireless with PEAP/MSCHAPV2

I have heard that the Hotfix KB932063 will be able to fix the issue related to the connectivity issues in Windows Vista, but no where it seems to be available? When is microsoft releasing the same? Thanks.

    RE: Vista Wireless with PEAP/MSCHAPV2

You didnt mention what is the issue that you are facing? I have also got issues if I am trying to connect to my wireless network with Cisco ACS certificate. I have already tried to follow some methods that are given in the documentations but it is not working for me. I think that there is some issue for Vista with Cisco ACS?

Try to follow the below steps to fix this problem:

    1. Turn on your Wifi Adapter.
    2. Select Network and Sharing Center option from the menu that appears by right clicking the network icon in the system tray or open the Network and Sharing Center from the Control Panel
    3. After that click on Manage Wireless Networks in the left pane and then click on Add
    4. Click on Manually create a Network Profile
    5. Enter the information as shown and then press Next
    6. Click on "Change Connection settings" and then Select the Security tab
    7. Select Security type as WPA2-Enterprise, Encryption type as AES or TKIP if required, and then select Choose a network authentification method as Microsoft:Protected EAP (PEAP), and then click Settings
    8. Tick ccmail07.iitd.ernet.in in the Trusted Root Certification Authorites, Select Authentication Method as Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2), and then click Configure
    9. Untick Automatically use my Windows logon name and password ..., and then Click OK
    10. Click OK on Protected EAP Properties dialogue box,
    11. Click OK on IITD_WIFI3 Wireless Network Properties dialogue box, and
    12. Click Close on Manually connect to a wireless network dialogue box.
    13. You have successfully completed the one-time setup, and are ready to connect to IITD_WIFI3 Wireless Network.
