Creating a shortcut to a VPN connection

Earlier I was using Windows XP with VPN connection. There I was able to create a shortcut of this connection and place it in Startup folder so that VPN automatically connects without having to manually start it. Now I have upgraded the system to Windows Vista and I would to do the same, that creating and placing the VPN connection shortcut in Startup folder but am not able to find such simple options in Vista as it were in XP. Can anyone please help me out with the same? Thank you very much.

I think you can do it with a small batch file. Just do one thing, go to Start, type CMD, right click CMD and select Run as Administrator. Type “rasdial /?” without quotes and press enter. See what happens.
