View Full Map for Network Map

Ok, I've tried everything I can think of to get the Vista "Show Full Map" function to work. For whatever reason it just refuses to work anymore. I've simplified my network down to one Vista Home Premium PC with all Intel standard hardware (motherboard, NIC, etc) hard-wired to linksys wrt54gs and it still won't work. I get the dreaded "Responses from other devices on the network are delayed or there is an incompatible router on the network." message. This used to work at one point then all of sudden stopped working.

I'm hoping somebody out there can give me instructions on how to take traces of this thing. Trying to figure out why it's not working is impossible otherwise. Anyone out there from Microsoft that has an interst in getting to the bottom of this?
