| Cant connect to network drives in vista but can on xp I am having a problem. Up until today, I have had 7 computers networked together, sharing multiple drives off of a winxp pro server. Three of the computers are running windows xp, three are vista, one is win7. Last night we had a power outage and when we came in, we had to reboot the entire network. Now, every computer running windows xp can still connect to the network drives \\Parent\sharedfolder. etc. However, the three running vista and the one running win7 cant connect. When I try to connect on them it says Invalid Username or Password. However, I am using the same username and passwords that are still working on the xp machines. I have made sure that file sharing is enabled, and restarted all the machines numerous times, however I am stuck to no avail. If anyone has any tips or ideas please let me know. -- CrazyJosh Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

Got it fixed.
