I have two systems at my home, that consists a Toshiba laptop running with Vista Business and a desktop with Vista Ultimate. Both are connected to a same (Home) Wireless Network. The problem am facing is Vista Ultimate (Desktop) is not able to access any files on Vista Laptop, while there is no problem access from laptop.

Whenever I try accessing files on laptop from desktop, it says “error code when clicking on laptop icon in "network" 0x80070035”. I don’t have any idea about this. Somebody please help.

The most important cause of such error use to be any third party Firewall installed on your computer. You must uninstall them completely from your system. It will be good if you also disable Windows built-in firewall. Other than this try disabling Antivirus on both systems. Make sure you have enabled file sharing on laptop. Or this troubleshooting 0x80070035 collections may help.

Re: Error 0x80070035 again (network path not found)

Here is the solution to "error code 0x80070035 network path was not found" on Windows Vista and Windows 7 Computers. Click on the "START" button, select "CONTROL PANEL", and go into "DEVICE MANAGER". Click on "NETWORK ADAPTERS", then click on "VIEW", and select "SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES". In the expanded view you will see a long list of numbered "MICROSOFT 6to4 ADAPTER". My Windows 7 Professional desktop had 200 of them. Right click and select "DELETE" on all but 1 of them. You can only do 1 at a time so it does take a while. When you have only 1 left, restart computer and enjoy being able to see your other network computers, including HOMEGROUP files.
