    This could indicate a lack of memory on your system - any answers?

    I have Windows Vista installed on my pc and I am getting this error everytime that says "Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server due to non-network errors." Does anyone any clue what does this error means exactly? Any suggestions on how to rectify this problem would be appreciated. Thanks

    Can you tell us which mail service provider are you using? To find it out, can you go click Tools and then Accounts and then your email account. After that click on Properties and then Servers. Now you have to click on the box that you want to change and here you will find out what is already there. You can also use backspace to remove it and then type in same what exactly you want to replace it with. After that when you have made the changes, simply click on Apply and then OK and then close it. Also, incase if you are using hotmail then it doesnt usually works well with Windows Mail and therefore you will have to subscribe to Hotmail Plus to make it work along, click this link for more information - http://get.live.com/en-us/mailplus/features

    If you want to retrieve your MSN or Hotmail or Live with Windows Mail, then you will have to access POP3 server mail which is downloaded to your computer. And the required settings for the same is 587 for the Outgoing Port. If this doesnt work then you will have to download the newer version of Windows Live Mail and then you will be able to access the Hotmail or the Live account without any problems.

    For a refrence check the below server names and ports that you need to put, incase if you are using POP3:
    POP3 = pop3.live.com Port = 995
    SMTP = smtp.live.com Port = 587
