    Synching Gmail With Microsoft Mail

I am using Windows Mail on Vista and I am continuously geting the below error message:

Header download for the '[Gmail]' folder did not complete. Could not select '[Gmail]' on the IMAP server. You might try refreshing your folder list to synchronize with the IMAP server. Account: 'imap.gmail.com', Server: 'imap.gmail.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: 'Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail] (Failure)', Port: 993, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCCD2

Can anyone help me out please to solve this issue?

Can you go to the Imap tab on the configure window and set gmail as your main folder and see what happens. Alternately, you can highlight gmail and then right click on it and then go to its properties and then go to Synchonize tab and then uncheck (When synchonizing this folder, downloads). Now check whether you the problem is solved or not.

You have to open your account from the Tools menu and then select Properties and then go to the IMAP tab and then in the Root Folder path text box you have to write [Gmail]. After that try to sync and then check if it is working for you.
