"some of the files could not be found"

I have been using Windows Vista with Office 2007 Student on my pc and when I am sending a word file that usually contains the song lyrics to some of my members and when each time I attach a file then it gives me an error message that says "Some of the files could not be found, and could not be attached to the message. Would you like to send the message anyway"? Is thre anyone who has come out for a solution for this issue?

I think that you have not selected the default mail program properly if I understand what you are asking. So to do the same, you need to go into Control Panel >> Default Programs >> then Set Program Access and Computer Defaults >> (choose Continue if the permissions window pops up) >> double click on Custom >> and under Choose a default e-mail program, choose Windows Mail and then click OK and then close the window. After this whenever you will choose the Send to in any of the application on your computer then a Windows Mail would pop up and you will be able to send the mail to anyone you want to. Hope this helps.

As per the error message it means that the document or the pics that you are trying to attach in an email to send to anyone, is already open somewhere on your pc. Therefore you will first of all need to close the file and then only it could be send, or otherwise it wont go even if you try to attach it as a link in an email. Another thing that you can do is check whether the document or the pics are in a folder that is under your user profile that you are using. If this doesnt work either, then the only option left to you will be to upgrade to Windows Live Mail which can be downloaded directly from the microsoft site and see if that helps.
