Can I Import MS Exchange .pst Files Into Vista Windows Mail?

I was wondering if I would be able to import the pst files of microsoft exchange into Vista Windows Mail? I just need to access old microsoft exchange pst files through Windows Mail and when I go into files >> import >> messages and then select message type, then it gives me an error message which says "Message cannot be imported from the MAPI client". So can anyone tell me how do I access the old mail files. Thanks

I think that you need to install Outlook in your computer. Incase if you do not have Outlook in your pc then you can simply download the Office demo which and install it on your computer and then import it into Outlook Express. You can download the Office 2007 demo from this link - http://www7.buyoffice.microsoft.com/...?country_id=IN

I had been experiencing the same problem but after getting the copy of Outlook 2007, I have successfully loaded all the archived .pst files in the computer. Thanks for all the help.
