Windows live no longer opens when I click online email link...please help

I used to be able to click on a email address on the web and my windows live would automatically open a send mail window with that email address in the send to box but all of a sudden it wont do it any more I restored my computer no luck...I re installed the program ...no luck.


Please help this saves me hours of time every day, and windows support sucks.

What is the operating system you have installed in your pc? The sender might be probably set to send plain text. So try the below settings, in Windows Live Mail, the setting is
Tools>Options>send>mail sending format.

It is probably about the same in OE.

The mail system will send mail fine, the problem is whenever I used to click on a linked email address automatically a live mail box would pop up with that email address in the 'To' box and all I had to do is type in the message and hit sent, it will not do this now and it will literally cost me hours a day.
