Unable to send Yahoo Mail through Vista, Can receive

This issue has been continuing for almost a month. I am now using Gmail.

I pay for Yahoo Plus, and have contacted Yahoo a number of times, who slowly reply. They have blamed my ISP who blames Yahoo. My Gmail works with no problems, and Yahoo has worked for a number of years with this provider and over a year with this computer.

The error message that appears is
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Test 1', Account: 'Yahoo - Julian', Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

I have change the port to 575 and that does not work.

Any ideas.

Try setting your computer clock correctly, it appears to be a week slow?

Try these settings:
Advanced tab
SMTP 587
POP3 110

Server Timeouts
slide indicator over to long.

No other items should be checked on the advance tab.

I'm not so sure that your server supports port 465. Try the settings
given here:
