Automatically forward windows mail to another email account?

This is the first time I going to use Windows mail, am completely new for this. Somewhere I heard that there is an option in Windows mail using which we can forward our emails to any other email account such as hotmail, Gmail, etc. Now as am ready with Windows Mail, am not getting any such option where I can set it to forward mail. Even tries searching the same on web but dint found it. Is it really possible in windows mail?

I guess you might have heard something wrong. Because Windows Mail is the pop3/imap email client. It allows you to pull emails from various other email accounts such as Yahoo, gmail, Aol, Comcast, etc to one place, that is Windows mail. How can you forward this mails to those servers again? And why you want to that? There is no sense.

I get what you mean. I know this is an old post but I had the same problem. What you need to do is make a 'message rule'.

Open Windows Mail. Click Tools and go down to Message Rules: for Mail.

    Creating your 'New Mail Rule':

    1. Select the conditions for your rule: For all messages
    2. Select the actions for your rule: Forward it to people
    3. Rule description: click the 'people' link and add in your other email account.

    Hope that helps :-)
