| Automatically forward windows mail to another email account?
Help me, please! I was told that I could setup my Windows Mail account to automatically forward all messages to another email account (say, a gmail or hotmail account)--is this possible? I have searched everywhere I can't find any way to do this. |

What do you mean by a "Windows Mail account"? You can set up mail accounts in Windows Mail, but those accounts are obtained from mail providers, such as Comcast, Gmail, AOL. You make the forwarding arrangement at the webmail page of the provider. |

I get what you mean. I know this is an old post but I had the same problem. What you need to do is make a 'message rule'. Open Windows Mail. Click Tools and go down to Message Rules: for Mail. Creating your 'New Mail Rule': 1. Select the conditions for your rule: For all messages 2. Select the actions for your rule: Forward it to people 3. Rule description: click the 'people' link and add in your other email account. Hope that helps :-) |
