PowerPoint Viewer

I have had this problem before, when i recieve email with a Powerpoint
viewer, it will not open and a message comes up, POWERPOINT VIEWER CANNOT
FIND THIS FILE. I was told how to correct this once before on this program
and cannot remember how to fix this. Please help, Mark

AFAICS you want to say "with a Powerpoint attachment".

Did you install IE8 un the meantime?

Do you have the problem with PPT/PPS files only?
How about other file types, especially JPG and TXT?

The "cannot find this file" error is almost definitely caused by IE8.
The only known fix at this time is to uninstall IE8:
