We can't do much with just the error number.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste the whole thing
into a reply here.

RE: error 11001 0x800cccod

I get the same thing but with talktalk....The host 'mail.talktalk.net' could
not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'acc2mail.talktalk.net', Server: 'mail.talktalk.net', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D
Can you advise please.

Herby, please don't hijack someone else's thread, especially when your
error message is different.
You should contact Southern Vermont College for the correct mail settings.
It is not likely their mail server uses SSL on port 587, so as a first guess
I would disable SSL: Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties,
Advanced, then uncheck the SSL option.

We do not provide support via email.
