How do I find incoming e-mail server type, incomming mail server,

    Hi,

I’m using Windows Mail for most of my POP3 mail accounts and is working fine. Today I wanted to setup one more for craigslist. But when am going to setup its account, it asks for me email servers that I don’t know what it is. These are the few options that am getting stuck with:
    • Incoming email server type- POP3, IMAP, HTTP?
    • Incoming email server?
    • Outgoing email server name?

Can anyone please tell me where can I get all these details ?

Re: How do I find incoming e-mail server type, incomming mail server,

Whenever we trying adding any email from Gmail, yahoo or Hotmail, these email clients (Windows Mail) use to get incoming/outgoing email server details automatically because those are well know service providers. But when you try adding any other pop3 account, you need to get these details from them itself because these email clients don’t have their details.

So just call up your Internet Service Provider and ask them what is the craigslist email server details. They use to be aware of all these things.

Hello ChehZaad, can you just send us the complete email address or just the part after the @ sign in your email address? This will help us people to help you out.
