Importing Outlook Express Messages into Outlook 2007

I was wondering if anyone can instruct me on how I can import my .dbx files
from outlook express (Win XP) to Outlook 2007 (Vista 64bit)? I've tried
using the help instructions to no avail. I've tried copying the .dbx files
to my new laptop (with Vista) under the Outlook Directory again to no avail.

Anyone know how I can do this short of forwarding everything back to myself?

Thanks

This newsgroup is dedicated to the Windows Mail program.
You should probably ask in an Outlook newsgroup where the
Outlook experts hang out: microsoft.public.outlook.general .

Re: Importing Outlook Express Messages into Outlook 2007

In this case, you would transfer your OE data into Windows Mail, then export
it from Windows Mail into Outlook 2007. Instructions to transfer from OE
..DBX files to Windows mail are here:

http://www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#oe2wm

Once that's done, use Windows Mail to transfer your messages to Outlook,
then use Outlook to import addresses from Windows Mail.
