Importing eml files into windows mail

I recently upgraded to Vista Home Premium and facing huge problem with emails. Actually I have backup of emails in EML format which I am trying to import in Windows mail. But when I click on Import and go to the location where EML files are saved, the folder seems to be empty in the import wizard.

I don’t know what could be the problem. Do you guys have any idea?

I guess there was some problem while backing up the emails. How did you backup them? I mean, did you just copied the emails or you backed them up by going to File > Export ?

You can simply just drag and drop the eml files overtop the WinMail folder message list if the import process is not working fine. By doing this it should be incorporated into the folder. You can check this for more help.
