can receive but not send email

I have not been able to send email all day. Everything worked perfectly on
Friday and I have not done any changes to my system.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Here is the error message.

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Fw: ', Account:
'mail.epandr.com', Server: 'smtp.epandr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Thanks for your help.

RE: can receive but not send email

If you are on cable, unplug power to cable box for about 30 seconds and plug
it back in. If you have a router, do the same thing with it and then restart
your computer.Should solve your problem. If not check with cable co. to see
if they are having problems in your area.

Re: can receive but not send email

Epandr.com is not your ISP. As such, your home ISP will likely
block your use of any port 25 SMTP server other than their own.
For an explanation of this policy, see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/P..._Blocking.aspx

Either you have changed locations since Friday, or else your
ISP has just changed their policy on port 25 blocking.

To send from home, you will have to substitute your home ISP's
SMTP server. If you need help with that, let us know who your
home ISP is.

Re: can receive but not send email

You should substitute smtp.comcast.net on port 587 for your current
SMTP server.
