Import Outlook 2007 Address Book into Windows Mail

I am having Windows Vista installed on my pc and am running Outlook 2007 and Windows Mail programs on it. I wanted to know how do I import or transfer the Outlook 2007 address book in the Windows Mail program. I have checked for many solutions for same but nothing has helped me so far. Any ideas?

When you open Outlook then go to 'File > Import and Export > Export to a file > Next > Comma Separated Values' and either DOS or Windows will do. It will then create .CSV file and after when this file is created then open windows Mail and then click on 'File > Import > Windows Contacts > CSV (Comma Separated Values)' and browse to the location where you have saved the >CSV file and it will then import the .CSV file in the Windows Contacts.

Till the time you are using the common exchange format which is also called the CSV, you can try to export from Windows Mail and then import the same into Outlook. You should also note that not every characteristics will be transferred like for examples the group membership and so. On the same computer if Outlook is installed then did you try its import feature to see if that will find out the Windows Contacts directly?
